BlueFire Bar & Grille
About This Spot
BlueFire Bar & Grille welcomes you with the warm hum of a dependable neighborhood gathering spot, where the lighting dips low and the steady chatter invites you to settle in and slow down. Nestled just off Millersport Highway in Amherst, its ambiance carries a gentle warmth — the kind of place where time ticks a bit softer, and getting comfortable is part of the experience.
The mood here finds balance between casual and attentive. Whether you’re perched at the bar under soft, glowing fixtures or nestled into a booth where the light fades into a welcoming shadow, there’s an ease in the air that suits both quiet dinners and lively conversations. The pace moves thoughtfully, attentive without being rushed, reflecting the mix of locals and travelers passing through—everyone finding a moment of connection.
Food at BlueFire resonates with a blend of comforting familiarity and thoughtful detail. The menu invites you to lean into flavors that feel both approachable and considered—from crisp, vibrant salads touched by bright, seasonal dressings, to rich plates like beef on kimmelweck that carry a clear sense of place. There’s an honest kind of satisfaction in the pan-seared scallops or the boldly sauced Korean chicken wings, each prepared with an eye toward balance and warmth rather than showmanship.
Service here mirrors the atmosphere — friendly, grounded, and ready to guide without rushing. You’ll find the staff attentive to the rhythms of your visit, making sure orders arrive with care and that you feel welcome whether you’re in for a quick solo meal or sharing stories with friends. It’s a space where the little details matter: the hum of background conversation, the interplay of shadows and light, the quiet pause between courses inviting you to simply be.
At its heart, BlueFire Bar & Grille offers a local pulse with a side of comfort — a place to arrive, unwind, and appreciate the pleasure of good food in an unpretentious, honest setting.

We stayed a night at Amherst before taking off to see Niagara Falls, we stopped by B&B for dinner. Our experience was a positive one. The restaurant was full, good sign, we were immediately seated at the bar(beautiful lighting) and waited about 10 mins for a table. Our food was delicious. The only thing that had me wondering was the lighting were we had dinner, it was way low. I could barely see what I was eating, other than that all good, our server was attentive and present. I would definitely come back some day.

Fast and Friendly Service! I ordered from this restaurant during my stay at the Bufaloo Marriott. The food was absolutely delicious, and the bartender was friendly. I enjoyed the Strawberry Salad, also. Overall, a great restaurant

I was staying in Amherst for a conference and had a nice experience at the Blue Fire Grill in the Marriott. Everyone was very friendly and the food was okay.

Food was pretty good but a little pricy for the quality. I tried my first beef on weck here and it was quite yummy. The staff was very helpful and we had good service at the car or during our stay

I went to the BlueFire Bar & Grille for an easy dinner my first night at the Buffalo Marriott Niagara. It wasn't very busy in the late afternoon, but I didn't mind since I was by myself in a new place. I ordered a side salad and their korean chicken wings. The salad was pretty basic and tasty, what you should expect. The wings though...they were delightfully hot and crispy! The korean sauce was delicious, and they were tossed with the perfect amount of sauce. I would definitely come back to try more of their wing flavors. Plus, I think the number of wings you get is good for the price. The servers were also friendly.
